You’ll lead design, development, and ongoing improvement of applications that help deliver better quality, cost, and customer experience—end to end, from requirements through deployment.

What you’ll do

  • Design and implement a 5 year software roadmap to bring software applications in-house, including autonomous.
  • Own the full software development lifecycle: planning, design, coding, validation testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance

  • Lead development, design, and maintenance of core software applications supporting existing equipment and new product initiatives

  • Collaborate with a broader engineering group and external design partners on new technology development

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade systems based on user feedback and evolving needs

  • Support prototype development and build processes

  • Write and optimize code across multiple languages, integrating components into unified systems

  • Track emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve development processes

Desired Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Software engineering/development experience

  • Experience with multiple programming languagesDanfoss PLUS+1® experience helpful

  • Agile/Scrum knowledge and strong software/computer skills

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills

  • Comfortable working safely across office, production, and jobsite settings

  • Mobile hydraulics programming experience
