The Role
– Collaborate with stakeholders to develop the vision/roadmap for future
equipment integration, improving machine communication and identifying
opportunities to leverage machine data
– Design and development of Automated Equipment Controls Systems in a Manufacturing
Environment
– Advocate for the equipment/controls design needed in new manufacturing equipment
purchases or to retrofit existing equipment to make it network accessible
– Establish vendor relationships to deliver controls equipment and solutions meeting
engineering and operational goals
– Establish unique ways to utilize controls, sensors and vison to increase quality and
productivity
– Documentation including Schematics, Panel Layouts and Data Flow
– Planned maintenance on controls to meet engineering and operational goals for
automated equipment.
– Use internal and external resources to support unplanned (breakdown) maintenance
activities on controls hardware and systems
– Troubleshooting of Processing controls (Various PID Control including Heat, Pressure,
Speed, etc.)
– Manage control assets, lifecycle, and software/firmware versions
– Develop recommendations and justifications for controls enhancements
Desired Background
PLC Programming experience related to Manufacturing in a data driven environment. Familiarity
with CAD systems, SCADA, and MS Office components. Familiarity with Allen-Bradley
PLC Programming suite, Motion Controller Programming, Networking and communication
protocols used with industrial controllers (Ethernet/IP, OPC, etc.)

Hybrid/Partial work at home possible
to $130k, negotiable, plus annual company bonus plan
