Controls Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for automation projects.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate controls into automation systems.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and commissioning.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

 

Desired Background:

  • Experience in controls engineer, including PLC programming and HMI design.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.

 

Location: Telford, PA

Travel: Less than 5%, regional only, per diem paid

Compensation: Hourly, totaling up to $130k annually averaging 45 hours/week. Plus full benefits.
